Ohio’s Gaming Company Deepens Cleveland Roots Signing Long Term Lease With K&D Group For Downtown Headquarters

JACK Entertainment, the gaming operator of JACK Cleveland Casino and JACK Thistledown Racino, has signed a multi-year lease with local real estate company, K&D Group, to house their corporate operations

The Ohio-based gaming operator, JACK Entertainment, and Northeast Ohio’s largest landlord, K&D Group, have announced a multi-year lease agreement providing two floors of downtown’s Terminal Tower for JACK Entertainment’s corporate office.

JACK Entertainment, which operates both JACK Cleveland Casino downtown and JACK Thistledown Racino in North Randall, will house their regional office within the 16th and 17th floors of the Terminal Tower. The 15,000 square-foot office space will accommodate the gaming operator’s corporate team members while providing a new home to support the company’s continued growth. The long-term lease affirms JACK Entertainment’s long-standing commitment to the city of Cleveland.

“JACK Entertainment is proud to call the city of Cleveland home and we look forward to continuing to be an integral part of the local community we serve,” said Mark Dunkeson, chief executive officer of JACK Entertainment. “As we embark on this next chapter of JACK, we do so with our sights set on not only the success of our company but the direct impact we can have on the greater Cleveland community that has continued to support us.”

K&D’s Downtown Cleveland headquarters will remain downtown, formerly occupying the 16th floor but will relocate to the 37th and 38th floors to accommodate the Cleveland casino operator within the tower.

“We are thrilled to work with JACK Entertainment and look forward to a long relationship,” said Doug Price, chief executive officer of K&D. “We are enthusiastic for this partnership and we hope that JACK Entertainment’s lease can be a catalyst for this year as we continue to bring new businesses to Downtown Cleveland.”

Since opening, JACK Entertainment has invested more than $700 million into its Cleveland properties, playing an integral part in the growth and revitalization of both downtown and the Village of North Randall. JACK Thistledown Racino recently unveiled a 12,000 square-foot expansion featuring a state-of-the-art elevated outdoor gaming space to the property. In addition, JACK is nearing the completion of extensive renovations to the May Company parking garage which was purchased in 2018. The company has plans to continue capital investments into both locations to further enhance their guests’ gaming experience while supporting the areas in which the properties reside.

JACK expects to fully occupy the new office space by summer 2021.
