JACK Cleveland Casino and JACK Thistledown Racino have received the 2020 recognition for their outstanding workplace culture
JACK Entertainment, a recognized leader in the gaming-hospitality industry, has been named a 2020 Top Workplace by The Plain Dealer. For the third year in a row, the company has received the recognition which is based on feedback from an anonymous team member survey that measures workplace culture.
As the only gaming operator based in the state of Ohio, part of the workplace culture JACK Entertainment has fostered includes empowering its team members to give back to the community they call home. JACK’s mission to be a champion for good in the community through its charitable giving efforts saw JACK team members supporting more than 50 local organizations, and serving more than 500 volunteer hours within the last year.

The Ohio gaming company located in Cleveland, owns and operates JACK Cleveland Casino, Ohio’s first full-service casino located inside the historic Higbee Building in the heart of downtown Cleveland, and JACK Thistledown Racino, a historic Cleveland-area thoroughbred racetrack and gaming facility. Together these properties employ nearly 1,400 JACK team members and features 16 bars and dining establishments, and more than 150,000 square feet of gaming space.
The team member survey is administered by the research partner Energage, LLC (formerly WorkplaceDynamics), a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools.
