JACK Cleveland Casino’s Seven Chefs Buffet introduces produce from Ohio farms into dishes
JACK Cleveland Casino’s Seven Chefs Buffet has partnered with Ohio farms to add local produce to its fare, helping to support the local community while creating fresh and flavorful options for guests.
The seven station buffet, which includes Asian, Italian, American, Carving, Salad, Pastry and Shuffle stations, will feature local produce such as herbs, lettuce, tomatoes, zucchini, mushrooms, yellow squash and stone fruit, all grown in Ohio. Dishes and produce will vary based on seasonality, but locally sourced selections will always be available.
“JACK Cleveland Casino strives to engage and build strong partnerships within our community,” said Shane Brassel, Director of Food and Beverage at JACK Cleveland Casino. “To collaborate with hard working farmers, not only in our state but right in our city, to help deliver a delicious meal to our guests is just another way our company lives out that mission.”
Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy options such as chicken marsala and beef tips featuring local mushrooms; guacamole and pineapple salsa using local cilantro; ratatouille with home grown zucchini and much more. The buffet’s weekly specialty menus which include Old World Mondays, Just Like Home Tuesdays, Rustic Backyard Wednesdays, Taco Thursdays, Fish and Chip Fridays in addition to Friday night BBQ and Saturday Steak and Seafood, will also highlight the fresh ingredients. All dishes containing local produce will be labeled accordingly so that guests may know that what they are eating was sourced from Ohio.
Local farms whose produce will be used at the buffet include the Cleveland based, Green City Growers, the Berlin Heights’ Quarry Hill Orchard, and the Wiers Family Farm located in Willard, Ohio. Guests can also find local products in entrées at JACK Cleveland Casino’s two fast casual eateries, Nonna Pazza and STACK’D.
